Where is the love of GOD in you? Where is the love JESUS showed the woman at the well who had five husbands, and the man she was committing adultery with at home was not her husband? And the love JESUS showed the woman compelled her to go preach the gospel to all the men of her city, and all the men of her city came seeking JESUS, because of the preaching of an adulterous woman who was changed by a conversation she had with the love of GOD at a well!
“WHERE IS THE LOVE IN YOU?”
Where is the love of GOD where JESUS was confronted with a woman caught in adultery? And the religious leaders wanted to stone her, but the love of GOD said, “Let him that is without sin cast the first stone!
Where is the love of GOD where JESUS chose Judas to be his disciple? Even though JESUS knew Judas was going to betray him, and give him over to his enemies, but yet the love of GOD kept loving Judas, the love of GOD still treated Judas like a disciple, the love of GOD kept loving Judas despite knowing who he was, the love of GOD kept compelling Judas to change until they day Judas betrayed love, and even on the cross the love of GOD said forgive them Father for they know not what they do!
“WHERE IS THE LOVE IN YOU?”
Where is the love when GOD’S anointed King David commits adultery with another man’s wife, then tries to deceive the man into sleeping with his wife so he can make the child look like it belongs to him, and then kills the man for his wife?
And GOD confronts his anointed King about sins he committed against GOD, and King David repents from his heart, but GOD judges him with a severe judgment, a judgment that will plague his household, but he repents from the heart, and the love of GOD allows him to still be his anointed King, and blesses him with a seed that shall forever sit upon the throne, JESUS!~
“WHERE IS THE LOVE IN YOU?”
Where is the love of GOD where JESUS chooses a man who was murdering Christians, and persecuting the true church of JESUS CHRIST, but JESUS showed him love, and chose him for his heart, and this same man who was converted by love went on to write 14 books of the bible, and become one of GOD’S greatest apostles, all because he ran into the real love of GOD that covers a multitude of sins!
“WHERE IS THE REAL LOVE OF GOD? WHERE IS YOUR LOVE? WHERE IS THE LOVE THAT COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS? IS THIS TYPE OF JESUS LOVE IN YOU?”
Brothers and sisters, we live in an unloving society today, and even in the church among church folks and religious leaders, they lack the real love of GOD that covers a multitude of sins!
And if the adulterous woman at the well was here today in your churches many of you would judge her, stone her, and condemn her!
If the woman who was caught in adultery was here today in your churches many of you would judge her, stone her, and condemn her!
If King David was alive today in your churches many of you will judge him, condemn him, crucify him, take the kingdom away from him, and kill him, even though he is GOD’S CHOSEN anointed king!
If the great apostle Paul was alive today you would judge him for murder, condemn him, sentence him to death, and you would never let him preach or teach the gospel of JESUS CHRIST, and you most certainly would not let him write 14 books of the bible, even though he is GOD’S chosen anointed apostle!
If Judas was alive today, you would never let him in your churches, you would never let him follow you, you would never compel him to change with your love, and you would never love or forgive him, and many of you would do these things, because not many of you actually possess the love that covers a multitude of sins!
(1 Peter 4:7-8) But the end of all things is at hand: be you therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
And above all things have fervent LOVE among yourselves: for LOVE shall cover the multitude of sins.
(James 5:19-20) Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
(Galatians 5:13-15) For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love your neighbour as yourself.
But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
(Ephesians 3:17-19) That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
(1 Corinthians 131-13) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not LOVE, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not LOVE, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not LOVE, it profits me nothing.
LOVE suffers long, and is kind; LOVE envies not; LOVE vaunts not itself, LOVE is not puffed up,
LOVE Does not behave itself unseemly, LOVE does not seek her own, LOVE is not easily provoked, LOVE thinks no evil;
LOVE does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
LOVE bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
LOVE never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abides faith, hope, LOVE, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE.
Brothers and sisters, the man who was murdering Christians, and persecuting the TRUE church of JESUS CHRIST, is the same man who wrote this word in (1 Corinthians 13) and his name is the apostle Paul!
Now again I say, where is your love? And is it capable of covering a multitude of sins?
