A testimony is a form of evidence that is obtained from a witness who makes a solemn statement or declaration of facts or the truth of a matter concerning life.
His testimony whether oral or written is to bear witness to the truth.
(Revelation 12:10-11) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Brothers and sisters, we should all have a testimony, because we have all been tested by the trials, tribulations, and sufferings of life, for we learn obedience through the things we suffer in life.
Brothers and sisters, we are not supermen or superwomen, but we are made in the exact image of Almighty GOD, and if JESUS had to learn obedience through the things he suffered in life, then so you do!
I know not many people can truly comprehend that JESUS had to learn obedience through the things he suffered in life, because many people see JESUS as being perfect, and he IS perfect, but he still had to learn obedience through the things he suffered in life!~
Brothers and sisters, Can you even imagine the love GOD has for the WORLD, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in JESUS should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God did not send his Son into the WORLD to condemn the WORLD; but that the WORLD through JESUS might be saved.
Brothers and sisters, the word “Whosoever” means exactly what it means, “Whosoever!”
Brothers and sisters, JESUS is the testimony of Almighty of GOD, and even GOD has a testimony, because JESUS chose to come down from heaven sitting at the right hand of power just to experience life from man’s perspective, so no man can say GOD does not know, GOD does not understand, GOD has not been through what I been through, or GOD has not walked in my shoes, for JESUS suffered to learn obedience, the same way we must suffer!
“The Testimony!”
(Isaiah 53:1-12) Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when you shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Brothers and sisters, even the Apostle Paul has a great testimony, and he learned obedience through the things he suffered in life, the same way we must learn it, but what is your testimony? Can you testify to the truth of the matter concerning the issues of life? Can you help someone else by your testimony?
That is the question!~
(2 Corinthians 11:16-33) PAUL SAYS, I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak.
Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.
I am bold also. Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I. Are they ministers of Christ?
(I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
Three times was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which comes upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
Who is weak, and I am not weak?
Who is offended, and I burn not?
If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knowes that I lie not. In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
Now do you have a testimony? Can you testify to the truth of the matter!~
