(Isaiah 51:1-2) Hearken to me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence you are digged.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and I blessed him, and I increased him.
Brothers and sisters, GOD did not call me to be just like you, GOD did not call you to be just like me, and I don’t expect you to be just like me, because my shoes are my shoes, and your shoes are your shoes, I cannot walk a mile in your shoes, and you certainly cannot walk a mile in my shoes, for this is my walk with GOD, this is my life, and these are my shoes!
Brothers and sisters, you heard my testimony, you heard my life story, I told you of my past, my failures, my shortcomings, my struggles, and my many sins against GOD, I am not perfect, and GOD knows I am not perfect, but yet GOD still chose to reveal his word to me, he still chose me, he still anointed me, and he ordained me for the work of the ministry!~
And I know I am not perfect, for I know I am an ex-drug dealer, gangster disciple, whoremonger, 4 time felon, career criminal, a man who has been to the penitentiary 3 different times in my life, and a man who has been to jail for murder, but yet sometimes I ask GOD why me, because I want to hear GOD himself tell me the reason why?
Brothers and sisters, I am not perfect, I don’t pretend to be perfect, and don’t pretend to be holier than thou, for I need a savior to be saved every day of my life, the same way you need JESUS, I need JESUS also, and without JESUS I am nothing, and I can’t do nothing!~
Without JESUS my name might as well be “CAN’T GET RIGHT!”
Brothers and sisters, I am saying this to say, Judge not that you do not be judged, for there are people in the body of CHRIST who have been places in their life that you have never gone or went to, and their walk with GOD is their personal walk with GOD, and only GOD knows what it takes to make them into the men and women GOD created them to be!~
Brothers and sisters, I am an ex-drug dealer, gangster disciples, whore monger, 4 time felon, I have been to jail for murder, I have been to the penitentiary 3 different times in my life, I am an uneducated man, I have no formal education at all, and I am a ex-career criminal, but GOD has changed my life, because even though all odds were against my life, I still had a hope for life!
People, I do not minister the truth of GOD’S word from the viewpoint of religion, being religious, or being a self-righteous religious hypocrite, I minister the truth of GOD’S word for the sake of ministering to people who are lost like I was once lost, because I know there is hope when people think there is no hope, and I know GOD can make something work that’s not suppose to work according to man, because I know myself, I remember where GOD saved me from, and I know who I was before GOD changed me!
Brothers and sisters, I believe in change, I believe in second chances, third chances, forth chances, etc. etc. etc., I believe as long as you still have life there is a possibility for you to change, especially if you believe in JESUS, for all things are possible for them who believe in JESUS!
I believe in forgiveness, and I believe in forgiving people seven times seven hundred and seventy times, because GOD has forgiven me for so much more!
Brothers and sisters, As long as we still have life in us we can BE, so choose life in JESUS that you might become everything GOD ordained for you to BE!~
Choose life!
“I can be!”~
I can be what I can see.
I can see what I can be.
I can see truth His-story as it has been revealed to me.
I can see far beyond reality.
I can take a glimpse & see eternity.
I can be a time lord & control my own destiny.
I can be, I believe I can be!
I can be a poem spoken in a mystery that’s hard to understand.
I can be a walking bible or a living epistle that’s read of men.
I can be a king who rules in righteousness called to heal the land.
I can be a soul that lives forever with no life span.
I can be, I believe can be!
I can be the truth given to men, the answer to the lie.
I can be the wish you make, the hope you have, the shooting star in your eyes.
I can be a national best seller like Catcher in the Rye.
I can be a young eagle with fresh revelations souring through the skies.
With a song in my heart & joy in my spirit, singing,… I believe I can fly.
I can be!
I believe I can be!
A free psalm, I can be, by Reese Kemp
“Choose life!”~
I choose to begin & end the day with no sorrows.
I’m living today like I stole tomorrow.
I know life’s not fair, & it’s not always right.
But choose to live life in JESUS light.
I’m stealing back time like a thief in the night.
I’m getting all the wrongs in my life right.
I got his vision & his dream, I’m bursting at the seams.
I believe all things are possible for me, because I believe.
I’m forgetting my failures & my past, I’m living by faith, a hope that shall last.
I’m the sand inside the hour glass, but time seems to move so fast.
Turn me upside down & right side up.
I’m the intoxicating new wine found in your cup.
I’m the air born pesticide that kills the weeds.
I’m the beginning of your faith, the mustard seed!
I’m the tree that gives you life, I’m the reason you can breathe.
I’m the most common asked question, what is the truth you believe?
JESUS!~
Choose life!
A free psalm of choice, Choose Life, by Reese Kemp
(Deuteronomy 30:19-20) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live: That you may love the LORD your God, and that you may obey his voice, and that you may cleave unto him: for he is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
(Joshua 24:14-15) Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites/Americans/Africans, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
