We are not all the same, we are not all cut from the same cloth, GOD did not save us all from the same place, we did not all grow in Church or around a churchy atmosphere, not all of us have been saved all of our lives, not all of us are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, but GOD gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.
But the problem with most people in the body of CHRIST is this, “They don’t who they are or what GOD has called them to do”, so they think we are all the same!
And so you have the blind trying to lead those who can see, you have the deaf trying to lead those who can hear, and you have the immature trying to lead the spiritual mature, because they don’t who they are or what GOD has called them to do!
Brothers and sisters, when you don’t know who you are in CHRIST JESUS or what GOD has called you to do, then how can you ever tell a prophet of GOD what he is supposed to do, and you don’t even know who are in CHRIST JESUS or what GOD has called you to do?
How can you ever tell an apostle of GOD what he is supposed to do, and how he is supposed to do the work of GOD, when you don’t even know who are in CHRIST JESUS or what GOD has called you to do?
How can you ever tell an evangelist of GOD what he is supposed to do, and how he is supposed to do the work of GOD, when you don’t even know who you are in CHRIST JESUS or what GOD has called you to do?
How can you ever tell a pastor what he is supposed to do, and how he is supposed to do the work of GOD, when you don’t even know who are in CHRIST JESUS or what GOD has called you to do?
Brothers and sisters, when GOD appoints, anoints, ordains, and sends a man or woman or GOD out into the harvest to do the work of ministry, then they are doing what GOD has called them to do, not what you want them to do!
For they are GOD’S anointed, and it was GOD who anointed them, appointed them, ordained them, chose them, and sent them out, not you!
And they do what they do to please GOD who chose them, not the flesh of men!~
Brothers and sisters, we are not all the same, our lives are not the same, and our relationship with GOD is not the same, but the beauty of our relationship with GOD is this, “IT’S PERSONAL!”~
And you must have your own personal relationship with GOD through the revelation knowledge of JESUS CHRIST, that you might know for yourself who you are in CHRIST JESUS, and what GOD has called you to do!~
For faith without knowledge is dead faith, the same way faith without works is dead, and if you don’t work at seeking to GOD through the revelation knowledge of JESUS CHRIST, then your faith without knowledge is dead faith!~
(Ephesians 4:11-16) And GOD gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
(1 Corinthians 12:14-31) For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing?
If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.
And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
For our comely parts have no need: but God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
Brothers and sisters, I love these verses because they say what they say, and they mean exactly what they say!
But many people twist these scriptures to make them say what they want them to say and what they mean for them to say!
But they both clearly say, “GOD gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”
“God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.”
“God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.”
Brothers and sisters, the word of GOD says, GOD gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.
GOD set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues, it says nothing about men giving themselves, men choosing themselves, men choosing other men, and men going to religious schools to receive religious authority from other men!
For GOD gave and GOD set!~
(John 14:6-7) JESUS SAYS, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.
If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth you know him, and have seen him.
(John 6:44-45) JESUS SAYS, No man can come to me, except the Father which has sent me draw him to me: and I will raise him up at the last day.
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God.
Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes unto me.
(John 10:14-16) JESUS SAYS, I am the good PASTOR, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this sheepfold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one sheepfold, and one PASTOR.
(John 10:25-28) JESUS SAYS, I told you, and you do not believe me: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
But you do not believe me, because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
(John 10:5) JESUS SAYS, And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they do not know the voice of strangers.
(Galatians 1:11-12) Paul says, But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
(1 John 2:27) But the anointing which you have received of JESUS abides in you, and you do not need that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you shall abide in JESUS.
“The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind, and the source of wisdom itself, JESUS!~”
