I lost some spiritual things fighting in a spiritual war, but I’m striving to get them back.
I fell off my watchman’s post for a moment, but now I’m back on track.
I suffered some grievous wounds in a war no one knew I fought.
I ran in a spiritual race for life, that no one knew I lost.
I shed tears this morning for a homeless man I knew I could not save.
And it did not matter how much money I give or how much I gave.
This past week I seen our children dying in my community, and it broke my heart.
For I could not figure out what to do, where to begin, or where to start.
So I prayed to my GOD!………
For I need answers to questions man cannot give me, and neither can I give myself.
“Lord I need your help.”
Hear me, listen to me, let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O lord, my strength, and my redeemer, in JESUS name.
Do not allow me to be a man given to change.
Change me, let me see what you see, and make me into the man you want me to be.
Give me eyes to see, and ears to hear, that I might know what it is I ought to do, and live without fear.
Let me speak the word only, that YOUR servants be healed.
Let me die to myself, that I may feel what you feel.
Let my hands be your hands, my mouth be your mouth, and my feet be your feet.
Let me speak a word in due season, that brings confidence to the strong, and strengthens the hands of the weak.
Let me rest in the secret place, and dwell in the kingdom of GOD, that I may live and experience life from your perspective……
Let my words forever be selective.
Let me forever be wise as a serpent, and gentle as a dove, as I receive power to live this life from above.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O lord, my strength, and my redeemer, in JESUS name.
A Psalm, Tears in a bottle called prayer, by Reese Kemp!
(Psalms 56:8-13) O Lord, You tell my wanderings: you put my tears into your bottle: are not my tears in your book? When I cry unto you, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for GOD is for me. In GOD will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word. In GOD have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Your vows are upon me, O GOD: I will render praises unto you. For you have delivered my soul from death: you will deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before GOD in the light of the living?
