I’m dying and I know it, but I’m not afraid to die!
I’m alive and I’m living, but I know I’m living a lie!
Maybe I’m just afraid to live, but not afraid to die?
The lie has become the majority, the truth has become a minority!
And for this great evil great men die!
They exchange truth for a lie, Just for one taste of the American dream pie lie!
Some men soar, some even seem to fly, only to find out it’s just a temporary high!
Carried off to some distant place where other men dreams have died!
“Will you cry for me?”
Next stop the religious synagogues, some call it the church, I call it spiritual Babylon, the twilight zone!”
Where the truth has changed, and love has turned!
Servants rule over princes, and the balance is gone!
Where the foolish men reign who oppress the strong!
But I can hear the truth in the song saying……….~
“Will you die for me?”
Some would even dare to die, holding on to the truth in world seduced by lies!
See the ancient ones weep, and the righteous cry!
Look see the tears in poet/prophets eyes, Saying, “Will you die for me?”
Will I die for you? Will you die for me? This is my question to life’s questions, for truth I shall see!
I gave my life to seek out truth as truth sought after me!
When I found his word, the truth, or better yet, when the truth found me!
Only to realize this truth now I see!
Truth died for me!~
Now I can hear and see the truth in this psalm saying, Reese, live for me!
Yes, now I am dying to live!~
A psalm, Live for me, by Reese Kemp!~
(Luke 18:17-30) JESUS SAYS, Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
And JESUS said unto him, Why do you call me good?
There is none good, save one, that is, God.
You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
And the rich your ruler said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
Now when JESUS heard these things, he said unto him, Yet you lack one thing: sell all that you have, and distribute unto the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
And when JESUS saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hard shall it be for them that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
And JESUS said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive a hundred times more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
(Luke 14:25-33) And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, he cannot be my disciple.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit not down first, and count the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
Lest haply, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first, and consults whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand?
Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an ambassage, and desires conditions of peace.
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that does not forsake all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.
