But because you lacked knowledge, and didn’t take advantage of all the blessed opportunities life has freely given unto you, without cost or price, the spirit of truth was holding you accountable, because you didn’t recognize every perfect gift and talent came from GOD, with reason and purpose.
(Ecclesiastes 6:2) A man to whom God has given riches, wealth, and honor, so that he wants nothing for his soul of all that he desires, yet God does not give him power to eat thereof, but a stranger eats it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
(Ecclesiastes 2:24-26) There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God. For who can eat, or who else can hasten hereunto, more than I? For God gives to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he gives hard labor and travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
(Ecclesiastes 2:1-11) I said in my heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity. I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, What does it? I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life. I made me great works; I built me houses; I planted me vineyards: I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits: I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that brings forth trees: I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me: I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts. So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me. And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labor: and this was my portion of all my labor. Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labor that I had labored to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
(Luke 12:13-21) And one of the company said unto JESUS, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And JESUS said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of greed and covetousness: for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things which he possesses. And JESUS spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, YOU FOOL, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided? So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Brothers and sisters, To me, GOD is the greatest opportunist, because HE is always looking for an opportunity for HIS love, HIS word, and HIS truth, to be exalted, glorified, and magnified, by any means necessary……
And HE will use everything you are, and everything HE has given unto you, if you will submit your will unto HIS will……
