One thing I have now come to understand, is how some men love the praise of other men, more than they love the truth.
For pride keeps them in the loop, it makes them pleasing to the conscience of men, but so far from the truth.
Some men will sell their souls to be pleasing in the sight of other men.
Some men will betray GOD, and everything they believe in.
Just to be a part of the majority, Just to be a part of the in crowd…….
Their actions say it loud, I’m wrong, I’m black, I’m white, I’m a color, and I’m proud.
The lie has now become the majority.
Truth has become a minority.
And for this great evil, great men die.
They exchange truth for a lie, just for one taste of the American dream pie lie.
Some men soar, some even seem to fly.
Only to find out it’s a temporary high.
Carried off to some distant place where other men dreams have died.
Will you tell the absolute truth for free?
Will you cry for me?
Will you die for me?
Will you tell the truth to make me free?
Will you live the truth so I can see?
The real you, the real truth, the real JESUS!
A psalm of, Understanding Man and His Pride, by Reese Kemp
(Luke 6:26) JESUS SAYS, Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! For so did their fathers to the false prophets.
(John 15:18-21) JESUS SAYS, If the world hate you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
(1 John 4:4-6) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God does not hear us. This is how we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
(John 12:42-43) Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on JESUS; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess JESUS, lest they should be put out of the church synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
