The cross of JESUS CHRIST is where salvation begins and ends for the true believers in CHRIST JESUS, but not everyone wants to take up the cross of CHRIST JESUS, because not many people want to suffer for JESUS namesake.
Many people desire to stand near the cross, many people desire to look at the cross, and they want to identify with the cross of JESUS CHRIST, but not too many people want to take up that cross, and follow JESUS.
For not many people want to suffer for JESUS namesake, but they want all the blessings of GOD, all the prosperity of GOD, and the inheritance of GOD, but they don’t want to hear the real gospel of JESUS CHRIST according to JESUS……
“Many want to be called Christian, but not too many want to take up their cross to follow JESUS.
For not too many Christians want to suffer for JESUS NAMESAKE.”
But they want to be called Christian!”
(Mark 10:21) JESUS SAYS, One thing you lack: go your way, sell whatsoever you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the CROSS, and follow me.
(Luke 23:26) And as they led JESUS away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the CROSS, that he might bear it after JESUS.
(Matthew 27:31-32) And after that they had mocked JESUS, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
(Matthew 10:38-39) JESUS SAYS, And he that does not take his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.
(Matthew 16:24) JESUS SAYS, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
(Luke 14:27) JESUS SAYS, And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, he cannot be my disciple.
(Luke 14:33) JESUS SAYS, So likewise, whosoever he be of you that does not forsake all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.
(John 15:17-21) JESUS SAYS, These things I command you, that you love one another. If the world hate you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.
(Matthew 5:10-12) JESUS SAYS, Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
(John 16:1-3) JESUS SAYS, These things have I spoken unto you, that you should not be offended. They shall put you out of the church synagogues: yes, the time cometh, that whosoever kills you will think that he does God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
(2 Timothy 3:12-13) Yes, and all that will live godly in CHRIST JESUS shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
“Many want to be called Christian, but not too many want to take up their cross to follow JESUS.
For not too many Christians want to suffer for JESUS NAMESAKE.”
But they want to be called Christian!”
