I have not written my poetry in a while, lately, I been struggling with my inner child.
For my imagination has been limited to my own limited perception of lifestyle.
I’ve been discombobulated in my thoughts of love, life, loyalty, and how we should live.
I’ve been trying to do my part, doing all I know to do, and giving all I have to give.
But I can never do enough or give enough to satisfy the expectations of people who want me to be what they expect me to be.
I think it’s hard for people to actually love unconditionally, so they can only love as far as they can see.
I’ve learned it’s possible for people to have false expectations of you in their mind, and they become so engrossed with the thought of you being what they expect you to be, that it becomes impossible for them to be grateful in time or with time.
And though you’re not the person you use to be, and you’ve changed for the better, you can never change their mind.
So you’re left trying to reconstruct the reality of your now, dealing with the who, what, when, where, and how.
Only to realize you can’t change the past, and you certainly can’t be what people expect you to be, for you both have to deal with the Now of your own Reality. And even though you might find yourself stuck in the matrix dealing with a prequel to sequel, you will soon find out for yourself, that you can never satisfy the conscience of other people.
(1 Corinthians 10:29) “Conscience, I say, not my own conscious, but of the other: for why is my liberty being judged by another man’s conscience?”
I can be!
I can see what I can be.
I can see truth His-story as it has been revealed to me.
I can see far beyond reality.
I can take a glimpse and see eternity.
I can be a time lord and control my own destiny.
I can be, I believe I can be.
I can be a poem spoken in a mystery that’s hard to understand.
I can be a walking bible, a living epistle that’s read of men.
I can be a king who rules in righteousness called to heal the land.
I can be a soul that lives forever with no life span.
I can be, I believe I can be.
I can be the truth given to men, the answer to the lie.
I can be the wish you make, the hope you have, the shooting star in your eyes.
I can be a national bestseller like catcher in the rye.
I can be a young eagle with fresh revelations souring through the skies.
With a song in my heart and joy in my spirit, singing, I believe I can fly.
I can be.
I believe I can be.
A psalm, Poetic madness of a thought prelude to a dream, By Reese Kemp!~
(Psalms 45:1) My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
(Job 32:18-20) For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constrains me. Behold, my belly is as wine which has no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles. I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
