You cannot please everyone, and no matter how much good you do, some people are good at seeing the worst in you, and everything wrong in you.
You can be doing well by them, and for them, and they got more to say about what they see that’s wrong with you, than the good you’re doing for them.
Some people want you to be perfect or they have some perfect image of you in their mind that they want you to be.
But none of us are perfect, for we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.
And if you try to make people into some perfect specimen or some perfect image you made up in your mind, then GOD will make sure they disappoint you, because only JESUS is perfect.
For JESUS is LOVE, and real LOVE is perfect, real love is not mechanical, superficial, vindictive, hateful, vengeful, full of envy, jealousy, and self-righteousness, because real LOVE is a person, and his name is JESUS.
But if you don’t know JESUS, then you don’t know real LOVE, for JESUS is the perfect image of what Real LOVE is, and what real LOVE looks like.
But the question for you is this, “Is this type of LOVE in you?”
That is the question?
(1 John 4:16-21) And we have known and believed the love that God has to us.
God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.
Here is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.
If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God loves his brother also.
(John.15.12-15) JESUS SAYS, This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant does not know what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
(John.13:15-17) JESUS SAYS, For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
If you know these things, happy are you if you do them.
Brothers and sisters, I know JESUS, I know JESUS is LOVE, and I know the LOVE of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, because his LOVE is real, his love is pure, his LOVE is without hypocrisy, and it is beautiful, for the beauty of his LOVE is full.
And I don’t want anything else besides JESUS, and if you’re trying to give me anything besides real LOVE/JESUS, then you can keep it for yourself, because I know the LOVE of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-13) LOVE suffers long, and is kind; LOVE is not jealous; LOVE does not vaunt itself, LOVE is not puffed up, LOVE does not behave itself unseemly, LOVE does not seek her own, LOVE is not easily provoked, LOVE thinks no evil; LOVE does not Rejoice in sin or iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; LOVE bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. LOVE never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE.
LOVE is perfect, JESUS is LOVE, and the LOVE of GOD in CHRIST JESUS is perfect LOVE.
(1John.4.18) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
